I've read complaints about the trailer for "300," but I don't get them. To me, the preview for the adventure about ancient Sparta is the coolest-looking 2½ minutes around (see it at http://300themovie.warnerbros.com/).

Based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller, who was behind "Sin City," "300" is another looks-like-no-other-movie-you've-seen project. The collision of images in the trailer — storm-tossed waves, thong-clad musclemen, golden grasses rippling — takes your breath away. And the fact that the March 9 release was directed by Green Bay native Zack Snyder, who also made the excellent "Dawn of the Dead" remake, is an excellent sign.
