300: New Trailer

There's no way that a movie about so much bloodshed should be this damn pretty, yet here we are, and here comes 300. This new trailer for Zack Snyder's adaptation of the Frank Miller graphic novel is the first to actually explain the title (which refers to the Battle of Thermopylae of 480 BC, where 300 Spartan warriors fought off a literal million Persian warriors). But it still rocks the slow-tempo Nine Inch Nails track used in the teaser, and is still chock-full of lean warriors flying through the air with spears.
It's hard to fully comprehend some of the visuals when bound to a 425x350 screen, so if you have the capability, suit up for the HD version. Because the bigger the video gets, the more clear it becomes that you've never seen anything like this before.
If your computer is too slow for HD, you can go see Apocalypto this weekend, as this new trailer will run beforehand.
Oh, who are we kidding? You're not going to go see Apocalypto.
