Butler gets lost on Nim’s Island with Foster and will be Untouchable for Paramount

Gerard Butler is sneaking in a trip to the Fox Walden family film Nim’s Island and will star in the role originated by Sean Connery in Brian De Palma’s Untouchables prequel Capone Rising before filming the recently announced thriller Game. In Nim’s, Butler will play a scientist who must abandon his daughter (Abigail Breslin) on an island where she begins an e-mail relationship with a famed author, played by Jodie Foster. Little Manhattan director Mark Levin is helming the film with his wife Jennifer Flackett and filming will start in July for an April 28, 2008 release.
