Wrath of Gods DVD Updates

Hello

My name is Jon Gustafsson and I am the director of Wrath of Gods. I'm
sending you this message to give you an update on the DVD release. I
was in Toronto yesterday and I went to the factory to pick up the
DVDs, but they were not quite ready to be shipped. The disks
themselves are ready (see link to attached photo below), and the silk
printing on them looks beautiful - but the cover for the plastic case
around it is not. I'll tell you why.

A few days ago we won the Audience Award at the Oxford International
Film Festival. That was totally unexpected and made us very proud.
One of my co-producers insisted that we put the laurels on the cover.
Being the co-operative guy that I am I agreed (when this co-producer
suggests something I usually try to listen LOL). That meant that the
designer had to re-do the design and we lost our place in the
printing queue. This will add a couple of days to the printing
process.

The factory now promises to have the disk ready to be shipped on May
4th.

I am sorry for this little delay and I hope that you will be patient
with us.

I think that the cover design looks beautiful (see 2nd attached
photo) and we are all proud of the unexpected success of our little
film. I know you will not be disappointed when you get the disk. Here

I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am for your support and I
hope your patience will be extended for another couple of days. The
film will be going to more film festivals and there has been
considerable interest from distribution companies, but you are the
only ones to get this DVD at this point. This is a very exclusive
release.

Finally, I guess you all heard the fantastic news about the MTV Award
nominations. Break a leg, Gerry!!!

Hello again

It's finally ready!!! They called me from the DVD factory on Friday
and said they have 1000 copies wrapped and ready to go. They said
that the cover looks great - Just like a real movie. I couldn't help
but laugh. Guess they didn't expect much from this "one man
operation". Little do they know. The fact is that we have great
people working with us behind the scenes on this film and we have the
greatest group of supporters. It's been a long road since this whole
thing started. Some of you were already there when I set up the first
website for Beowulf & Grendel, watching the short video clips I posted
there, long before I knew if I would end up with a film of my own.
Then one day we were caught in a storm on the mountain and the rear
window of our vehicle got smashed by a flying rock.... and I was
rolling the camera at the time. That's when I knew that I would have
a film. The fact that you were willing to pre-buy the DVD made it
possible for me to finish the film with confidence. The result is
great. The audience loves the film - as we saw when we got the
audience award, and a couple of days ago we got a message saying that
we had been given a Bronze Remi at WorldFest in Huston. Yesterday we
got an invite from the Waterfront Film Festival in Michigan, June
7-10, and perhaps there will be other festival invites in the coming
months. I am sharing this with you because you are not just regular
DVD buyers. You were willing to pre-buy the DVD and therefore you are
now a part of the production. You made this possible, and I think it
will be bigger than we ever hoped.

We are processing all the orders this weekend so they can all be
shipped out on Monday. If you are in Japan, Australia, New Zealand,
Austria, Portugal, Philippines, Switzerland, Holland, Greece, Poland,
Germany, Brazil, Spain, or the U.K., (yes we have orders from all
those countries) please be patient. Your delivery may take a few more
days. The pre-buy special offers have been discontinued, but there may
of course be other offers at a later date. We are going to keep the
prize draw active for a few more weeks. Hopefully the DVD will arrive
at your door soon and when it does I am looking forward to your
feedback and testimonials through e-mail, on our Bulletin Board or on
www.imdb.com .

Hello again

I'm writing this message to those who haven't received their copy of
Wrath of Gods yet. It's been ten days since the Wrath of Gods DVD was
released and every day I get messages from people complaining that
they haven't received their disk yet. My favorite one was from a guy
who said that his wife was going nuts waiting for the DVD. He said
that if it didn't arrive soon he would have to start speaking with a
Scottish accent to calm her down.

Well, I can't begin to tell you how thrilling it is to have a film
that people want this much. Hopefully it will not disappoint you.
What I can tell you is that all the pre-orders were mailed out first
(on day one), and the new orders are put into the system as they
arrive. All the orders were sent with regular mail and every city /
state / country seems to be different when it comes to how quickly
they deliver their mail. I'm afraid there is nothing I can do about
that. To tell you the truth, I haven't even received my copy, and I
made the friggin thing myself :-) You see, I'm working in Europe at
the moment and the DVD is being shipped from the factory in Canada.
Mine is probably being held up in customs. I'm as excited to see the
final product as you are.

Some of you have already received your DVD and I've been getting a
lot of good feedback. For those of you who haven't received yours, I
have spent the night put together a little video for you, one that is
not on the disk. I have put it on our website http://wrathofgods.com/
and I will only keep it there till the end of Sunday. To play the
