Swirlin' Berlin - Celebs Keep Low Profile at Berlinale

BERLIN -- Teuton celebs partied hard while Hollywood stars (with the exception Sharon Stone) kept a low profile at this year's Berlinale.

Jennifer Lopez turned up the glam-o-meter when she accepted an Amnesty Intl.'s Artists for Amnesty Award Feb. 14 for producing and starring in the film "Bordertown," which focuses on the unsolved murders of hundreds of women in Juarez, Mexico.

The force of vintage starpower was felt at the Cinema for Peace charity gala where Richard Gere, Catherine Deneuve, Bob Geldof, Christopher Lee and Stone (who told the audience, "You naughty, naughty Germans, I'm going to punish you") tried to make the world a better place.

The only Cannes-type party was Warner Bros.' "300" event toward the end of the fest, where the film's stars Gerard Butler and Rodrigo Santoro partied, but by that time most people were already festival-ed out.
