Because everyone else is doing it, Excalibur's best of...

Instead of doing a top ten, indicating the best overall films of the year, Excalibur decided to point out a few movies worth seeing from the past year. Here are some of the notable movies of 2006:(excerpt)





Other exciting filmic developments include the newest adaptation of a Frank Miller comic, 300, in March. This flick is creating a lot of buzz in the online community, since many of them have been passing around its trailer, containing well-defined, shirtless (and pantless) Spartans soaked in oil and yelling at each other about honour and protecting their country - fun for the whole family.
