Who hates work right now?

I have to say, I usually love my job, but today I could have strangled my boss!!!!! Since I work in an emergy service there is a minimum of people we must have on staff at all time...when we find ourselves below that number and no ones wants to fill in, they force someone to stay for up to 16 hours....

I was working from 19h00 till 3h00 tonight, and for the record my shift doesn`t coincide with any other so I never should HAVE TO stay....but since those who had to inforce that rule were all over the place in their non work related business tonight, they asked me to stay till tomorrow morning event thought they were supposed to ask someone else whose shift actually matched the one to fill and who had not been working here as long as I have!!!

When I told them that I could "happily do it" but would have to call in sick for the 12 hour shift I was scheduled for tomorrow, they suddently realized they should have asked that other person!!!

In truth, we were already one person short tomorrow and they realized they`d be in even bigger trouble if I were to call in sick!!!!

Right now, I`m kidda pissed and would rather be somewhere else, but I`m on break and I`m glad I`ll get off at 3h00 in the end!!!!

I know. lol And understand completly. Only my sector was swamp this week... arggg... I needed help for the other sector to finish my expedition on time! Crap! I hate needing help!
